Kronospan at IWF Atlanta ’26: Meeting the Changing Demands of the US Market

Monday, 31 August 2026

Kronospan participated in IWF Atlanta ’26, presenting its portfolio with a focus on the changing demands of the US woodworking, interiors, and construction industries.

Kronospan presented its portfolio with a focus on the changing demands of the US woodworking, interiors, and construction industries.

The US market is shifting toward more restrained, structured interiors, with matte surfaces, refined woodgrains, and greater attention to material expression. At the same time, performance is becoming an increasingly important part of the design brief, particularly in commercial and public environments where durability, hygiene, and ease of maintenance are essential.

Faster installation, practical material solutions, and reduced on-site disruption are becoming increasingly relevant

These expectations are also influencing how spaces are built and renovated. Faster installation, practical material solutions, and reduced on-site disruption are becoming increasingly relevant, while construction projects continue to demand certified wood-based materials engineered for demanding applications.

Kronospan’s presence at IWF reflected this convergence of design and performance. Rather than treating aesthetics, functionality, and technical requirements as separate considerations, its portfolio brings them together across applications — from contemporary interior surfaces and renovation solutions to engineered products for construction.

Kronospan combines product performance with a focus on resource efficiency, waste reduction, recycling, and circular-economy principles in its manufacturing.

Sustainability forms another important part of this equation. As expectations around responsible material use continue to grow, Kronospan combines product performance with a focus on resource efficiency, waste reduction, recycling, and circular-economy principles in its manufacturing.

IWF Atlanta ’26 allowed us to engage directly with US industry professionals and show how Kronospan is responding to a market where design ambition increasingly goes hand in hand with performance, efficiency, and more responsible material choices.
