Kronospan at Intermob 2026: Design and Performance in One Place
Türkiye has a strong, diverse furniture-manufacturing base, supported by an established supply industry that provides the panels, surfaces, components, and technologies behind furniture production. For manufacturers serving both domestic and international markets, materials need to combine design appeal, performance, and production efficiency.
Intermob, Istanbul’s annual meeting point for the furniture supply chain, welcomed 29,091 professional visitors from 103 countries, including 5,634 international visitors. Its audience included furniture manufacturers, purchasing professionals, architects, interior designers, project developers, distributors and international buyers from the Balkans, Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Central Asia.
For Kronospan, this made Intermob a natural platform to present solutions developed around the needs of furniture producers and professional interiors.
Kronodesign® led the decorative presentation, with synchronized Harmony Plus textures, contemporary decors and tactile surfaces demonstrating the possibilities of modern furniture design. MAXLINE, Kronospan Türkiye’s premium lacquered MDF range, added matte and gloss finishes in uni, stone and wood designs.
Rocko Tiles, KronoOriginal®, Kronobuild® and Kronoart® extended the portfolio with solutions for walls, flooring, renovation and professional construction applications.
Performance-focused solutions included the process from CPL, HPL, and compact interior to Black Line, addressing demanding environments with certified antibacterial properties and full water resistance, suitable for public buildings, healthcare, education and other high-traffic interiors.
A dedicated VR experience gave visitors another way to explore Kronospan surfaces, placing individual materials into complete virtual interior applications.
Intermob 2026 reinforced the value of bringing design, technical performance, and application solutions together in one place. For Kronospan, the fair was also an opportunity to strengthen its ongoing connection with the Turkish market through its growing local presence and the Kronospan Istanbul Design Center, where architects and designers can continue exploring materials and applications beyond the exhibition.
