Kronospan Foundation challenges secondary schools to participate in the international competition “skill.ED”, edition 2021, under the motto “For your community, for your country, for the whole world.”
The aim is to initiate various social, economic and cultural projects in settlements where the company has built production facilities.
The President of the Foundation, Ms. Oana Bodea, believes that protecting and preserving nature and providing educational opportunities for children is a guarantee for success in life.

In this way, we want to focus especially on what we believe is the moral foundation of a healthy society – protecting and preserving the natural environment, and providing children with the educational opportunities that are required for success in life”, Dr. Oana Bodea, President of Kronospan Foundation.
The activity of Kronospan Foundation promotes excellence, but also everyone's access to education and social inclusion. At this time when education and children need, perhaps more than ever, special attention from us, Kronospan Foundation thinks ahead, but remains committed to those close to us and their immediate needs – because a helping hand is all the more valuable as it comes exactly when it is most needed.
In order to support Vocational Education in the countries where the company is present, the Kronospan Foundation launches a new project and offers 3 grants of 40.000 in each participating country.
Skill.ED is a competition of projects and the first edition is organized in Bulgaria, Poland and Russia. The participants are encouraged to submit projects to develop the vocational education by any means, such as (but not limiting to): equipping a laboratory, purchasing specific equipment, setting up specialized classes, offering scholarships for students, organizing internships etc.
To submit a project the applicants will have to fill in the Application Form online available from 1st of November on www.kronospanfoundation.org/skilled. The deadline to apply is 31st of December 2021 and the winners will be announced on 21st of January 2022.
