Congressman Mike Rogers Visits Kronospan Oxford Site
During the meeting, Kronospan executives highlighted how the expansion will bolster local employment opportunities and continued skills training programs for Alabama workers including FAME and Kronospan’s GenNext program. The benefit of Kronospan’s expansion on timberland owners, loggers, and local and state governments was also discussed.
As part of the conversations, Kronospan emphasized the critical need of support for the import of essential equipment from EU countries currently subject to tariffs.

The discussions were followed by a guided tour of the expansive 230-acre site, highlighting Kronospan's state-of-the-art operations in wood-based panel production.
