The conference continued with a presentation by the executives of Kronospan and Kronodrev; they spoke of the construction of the chipboard plant in the Republic Bashkortostan and the expected OSB production line at the plant near Moscow. The executives' speech also offered practical answers to urgent trade questions. Participants at the conference considered how an effective relationship could be developed between Kronospan and other organizations in the timber industry.

Global standards demand ecologically responsible wood utilization. This generated great interest in the topic "Forest Conservation and Controlled Delivery of Raw Wood". During the presentation, Kronodrev's management outlined how they monitor the origin of the purchased raw wood. Thus they prevent the sale of illegally cut wood, wood cut in violation of traditional or civil rights, or wood cut from forest where timber exploitation threatens forest reserves.

A. Ptichnikov, Executive Director of FSC Russian office, explained the importance of the Forest Stewardship Council Certification, the principles behind it and types of Certification. Then he concluded by answering participants' questions. The conference agenda also included a tour of the Museum of Art and History in Yegoeyvsk, where the event was held.
